Born out of necessity, driven by passion.

deBos' Dutch Kitchen has been decades in the making, I have been cooking and baking for my family, large family gatherings and others for most of my adult life. Culinarily influenced by my family heritage (Dutch and Indonesian), history and time spent abroad are reflected in my cooking and baking.

After a few career changes....single mother, educator, instructional designer, caregiver....I finally pursued my true passion, baking and pastry arts. I have been formally trained in Baking and Pastry arts, worked in a bakery that focused on whole wheats and grains, as well as locally sourced produce. My work experience allowed me to expand my baking and pastry knowledge, where I came up with several inventive products. I am now taking my knowledge and passion to create my own products that are based on years of taste knowledge.

Recipes have been adapted to use whole wheat flour and unrefined cane sugar.
